Sunday Night Fights? Update of JDS! New Fighters?

Welcome back to the FFEI website! Today we have lots of coverage starting with Sunday Night Fights. It’s been revealed the FFEI are considering a new event that will have 5 fights on each show, happening every sunday. This means the Fight Nights will be the big event, having 8 or 9 nights on each Fight Night event. This timetable also shows a FFEI Tournament is coming up. We imagine this is due to the situation with Junior Dos Santos (JDS).

The current heavyweight champion is Junior Dos Santos, after he brutally defeated Asoma Cannonier on Fight Night 26! Since then it has been rumoured JDS no longer wants to fight for the FFEI anymore and this will result in the title being vacated and a tournament will be put in place to decide who gets it. JDS will have until Wednesday (04/02/20) to decide if he wants to defend his title or give it up. Further will be revealed in the upcoming days on what JDS’s future is at FFEI.
It has also been announced that new fighters are coming to FFEI! Starting with the Ukrainian welterweight, Alexander Kosko is looking to sign a contract with the FFEI. It will be very interesting to see a new grappler in the division and I’m sure he could give a good fight against the champion Kazamir Dorokhov if he joins! The American heavyweight, Randy Brunson has already got a contract signed with the FFEI, confirmed in the early hours this morning at 7am. Brunson has got dynamite in his fists and ready to get in the octagon and bring the fight to anyone who wants it. It’s rumoured he’ll make his appearance against Tyrone Andersen, a well established fighter who has been around since the very first Fight Night!
